These terms cover your use of the Start Car app for iPhone and Apple Watch and its server. Start Car is run by ORXON LLC, 30 N. Gould St. Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. By using the app you agree to them.

Start Car and Pandora

Start Car is not made by Pandora and is not affiliated with Pandora. It works with your existing Pandora alarm and your own Pandora account. When you connect that account, Start Car signs in to Pandora on your behalf and sends the commands you ask for, or the ones your schedules and rules ask for.

Start Car depends on how Pandora's system works today. If Pandora changes or blocks it, some features or the whole app may stop working, for a while or for good.

Remote start is your responsibility

You decide when the engine starts, either by hand or with a schedule or rule you set up. Follow the laws where you park, including limits on leaving an engine idling. Never start the car in a garage or any other closed space, because exhaust fumes can kill. Check that the car is safe to start: in park or neutral, handbrake on, nobody working on it.

Subscriptions

Start Car needs a subscription. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, once per car. After the trial, Apple bills the subscription through your Apple account and it renews on its own until you cancel. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and can be different in each country. You can cancel at any time in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules. Deleting your Start Car account does not cancel the subscription.

No guarantees

Start Car relies on Pandora, Apple, your phone's connection and the alarm's own mobile link. A command can arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on Start Car where a missed command could hurt someone. The app is provided as it is, without warranties beyond the ones the law requires.

Liability

As far as the law allows, ORXON LLC's total liability to you for anything to do with Start Car is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

Your account

Keep your Pandora login and your Apple account safe. Use Start Car only for cars you own or are allowed to control. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
